How Partner profiles appear in Discovery and search
ShareDay uses several signals to decide which eligible profiles and events to show. A live or Pro profile is not promised the first result, and customers may see different results based on location, category and their search.
Before you start
Sign in to the correct ShareDay account and, if you manage more than one business or event, check the name shown in the account switcher before making changes.
How to do it
- Keep the profile live, verified and complete, with accurate categories, service regions and current contact information.
- Resolve Booking Setup and Needs Attention issues. Incomplete or unavailable offerings are less useful even if the profile itself is live.
- Use relevant descriptions and real images rather than repeating locations or keywords unnaturally.
- For Partner Pro, confirm the plan is active before expecting Pro visibility benefits. Priority Listings provide additional eligibility or ranking weight, not a permanent number-one position.
- If an eligible Host event should receive a Discovery Favourite benefit, confirm the Host account exists, the Partner-to-Host link is approved, the event meets Discovery rules, and the Pro entitlement is active.
- Use Analytics to measure profile views and clicks over time. Treat these figures as directional activity, not guaranteed sales attribution.
Important details
- Sponsored, verified, live, Partner Pro, Priority Listing and Discovery Favourite are separate states.
- Search order can also consider relevance, location, availability, safety, profile quality and operational rules.
- Social Media Spotlight is editorial promotion and does not guarantee a publication date, reach or number of enquiries.
If something does not look right
- If a profile is absent, first open its public preview and confirm it is live. Then check categories, region and moderation state.
- If a linked event lacks an expected Favourite state, follow the Host-linking guide and confirm both sides approved the link.
