Understand Partner analytics, clicks and profile activity
Partner Analytics shows activity recorded by ShareDay, such as profile exposure, views and outbound clicks. Use it to identify trends and incomplete customer journeys, not as a replacement for accounting or web analytics.
Before you start
Sign in to the correct ShareDay account and, if you manage more than one business or event, check the name shown in the account switcher before making changes.
How to do it
- Open Analytics from the selected Partner business.
- Choose the available date range and note whether figures refer to impressions, profile views, homepage or website clicks, messages or another action.
- Compare similar periods. A short spike may come from a campaign, event, seasonal demand or a small number of repeated visits.
- Check the profile and booking setup when views increase but enquiries do not. Confirm the description, location, offering details, contact path and availability answer the obvious customer questions.
- Use the Partner dashboard’s recent activity and last-activity information to spot changes made by team members or unusual gaps.
- Record campaign dates outside ShareDay if you want to compare a Social Media Spotlight or other promotion with later activity.
Important details
- Counts can be filtered for privacy, security, bot traffic or duplicates and may update after the original visit.
- A click means the control was used; it does not prove that the visitor called, purchased or completed a booking.
- Priority Listings and promotional tools do not guarantee a minimum number of impressions or leads.
If something does not look right
- If a count appears stuck, widen the date range, confirm the selected business and check whether the profile was live during that period.
- When reporting a suspected tracking problem, include the metric name, date range and a screenshot of the displayed result.
