Secure a Partner account and manage email preferences
Protect the Partner owner account because it may control public information, customer messages, bookings, team permissions and billing. Each person should use their own login.
Before you start
Sign in to the correct ShareDay account and, if you manage more than one business or event, check the name shown in the account switcher before making changes.
How to do it
- Use a unique password and keep the account email current and accessible.
- Open Partner Settings to review owner and business contact details, email preferences and available security controls.
- Review active sessions or devices when shown. Sign out sessions you do not recognise or no longer use.
- Invite staff through Team rather than sharing the owner password. Remove access promptly when someone leaves.
- Keep booking, enquiry, review and billing notifications enabled for a monitored address. Marketing preferences should not disable operational messages needed to run the account.
- If you suspect compromise, change the password, sign out other sessions, check team membership, inspect recent activity and contact support.
Important details
- ShareDay staff should never need your password or full payment-card number.
- Changing public business contact information is different from changing the private login email.
- An account owner is responsible for reviewing delegated access and sensitive changes.
If something does not look right
- If reset email does not arrive, confirm you are on Partner Login and check spam before requesting another.
- Report an unknown session or unauthorised profile/billing change immediately and preserve screenshots or timestamps.
Need help? Use the Help Centre contact form and include the business or event name, the page you were using, and what you expected to happen. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details.
