Add photos and connect Google Business

Partners can manage profile media directly and may optionally connect a Google Business Profile they are authorised to manage. Importing gives you control over what appears on ShareDay; it does not let ShareDay edit the Google listing.

Before you start

Sign in to the correct ShareDay account and, if you manage more than one business or event, check the name shown in the account switcher before making changes.

How to do it

  1. Open Photos to upload, reorder or remove Partner gallery images. Use sharp landscape images for covers and uncropped logo artwork for the logo position.
  2. Add useful captions or context where the portal provides it, and remove duplicates or images that no longer represent the service.
  3. To connect Google Business, open the Google connection from the Partner Portal or settings, sign in to the Google account that manages the business, and approve the requested access.
  4. Select the correct Google business location. Check the business name and address carefully when one Google account manages several locations.
  5. Review the available business details, photos or reviews and choose what to import or synchronise. Do not assume every Google field will overwrite the ShareDay profile.
  6. After importing, return to Edit Profile and Preview to check formatting, image crops and public information.
  7. To stop synchronisation, use Disconnect Google Business. Imported ShareDay profile content can then be edited or removed separately.

Important details

  • Google connection is optional. Disconnecting removes the ongoing authorisation and synchronised Google reviews, while deliberately imported profile content remains until edited or deleted.
  • Only connect a location you are authorised to manage. Google permissions and data use are explained in the Terms and Privacy article.
  • Profile and gallery limits can depend on the current Partner plan.

If something does not look right

  • If the expected location is missing, confirm the signed-in Google account is an owner or manager of it.
  • If imports fail, reconnect once after checking permissions. Avoid repeating imports before checking whether the first attempt completed.
