Manage Partner reviews, moderation and public replies

Reviews help customers understand previous experiences. The Partner Portal separates review status, moderation and public replies so that questionable content can be checked without turning the public reply into a private dispute.

Before you start

Sign in to the correct ShareDay account and, if you manage more than one business or event, check the name shown in the account switcher before making changes.

How to do it

  1. Open Reviews from the Partner Portal and filter or scan for reviews awaiting attention.
  2. Read the full review and any linked booking or event context. Do not publish customer contact information when replying.
  3. If the review is genuine and suitable, write a short public reply: acknowledge the experience, answer factual points calmly and invite private contact when account-specific detail is required.
  4. Submit the reply and check whether it is immediately public or awaiting moderation.
  5. If the review appears fraudulent, abusive, unrelated or privacy-invasive, use the moderation or escalation option and explain the exact problem. Evidence is more useful than a general disagreement.
  6. For synchronised Google reviews, manage the source review or owner response through the appropriate Google tools where required; ShareDay’s Google connection does not edit the Google listing.
  7. Check the public Partner profile after moderation is complete to confirm the expected review and reply are visible.

Important details

  • A negative review is not automatically a policy breach. Moderation focuses on authenticity, safety, privacy and acceptable-use rules.
  • Never offer undisclosed rewards for a positive review or pressure a customer to remove an honest review.
  • Public replies remain part of the business profile, so write for future customers as well as the reviewer.

If something does not look right

  • If the wrong review is attached to the business, provide the review date, reviewer display name and reason when contacting support.
  • If a submitted reply is not visible, check for a pending moderation state before submitting it again.
