Usage limits

Usage indicators show how much of a measured feature is available to the selected event or Partner business. A limit can be based on plan, event type, business plan, feature setting or operational eligibility.

Before you start

Sign in to the correct ShareDay account and, if you manage more than one business or event, check the name shown in the account switcher before making changes.

How to do it

  1. Open the page showing the usage indicator and confirm the selected event or Partner business.
  2. Read both the used and available amounts and the period, if one is shown. A monthly count and a lifetime event count are not the same.
  3. Remove genuine duplicates or unused draft records only when safe; do not delete history merely to bypass a limit.
  4. Review the current plan or eligible add-on when more capacity is required.
  5. After upgrading, refresh and confirm the displayed limit before adding more records.
  6. For booking capacity, inspect offering, availability and resources as well as plan limits.

Important details

  • Limits can apply to guests, reminders or credits, media, team access, offerings or other tools.
  • Some records continue to count while archived or scheduled because they still require storage or delivery.
  • Public, safety and verification rules are not usage limits and cannot necessarily be removed by upgrading.

If something does not look right

  • If the numbers appear wrong, check duplicate records and the applicable period, then report the displayed values and selected record.
  • Do not purchase repeatedly while a previous upgrade is still processing.
